SCRIPTURES ON FEAR, ANXIETY AND WORRY

But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob,he who formed you, O Israel:
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.—Isaiah 43:1-2

But whoever listens to me will dwell secure and will be at ease, without dread of disaster."—Proverbs 1:33

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, "Fear not, I am the one who helps you."—Isaiah 41:10,13

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.—Matthew 10:29-31

"Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.—Luke 12:32

For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!"—Romans 8:14-15

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,—Psalm 46:1-2

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.—2 Timothy 1:7

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.—1 John 4:18

It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed."—Deuteronomy 31:8

So we can confidently say,"The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?"—Hebrews 13:6

"FOR THE EYES OF THE LORD ARE ON THE RIGHTEOUS, AND HIS EARS ARE OPEN TO THEIR PRAYERS; BUT THE FACE OF THE LORD IS AGAINST THOSE WHO DO EVIL." And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. "AND DO NOT BE AFRAID OF THEIR THREATS, NOR BE TROUBLED." 1 Peter 3:12-14

"He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday." Psalms 91:4-6

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over." Psalms 23:4-5

"I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." Psalm 34:4

"Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whither soever thou goest." Joshua 1:9

The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso puts his trust in the Lord shall be safe." Proverbs 29:25

"The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" Psalm 27:1

"Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart" Psalms 27:14

"This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles." Psalms 34:6

"I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer" Psalms 40:17"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Psalms 46:1

"He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer." Psalms 102:17

Matthew 6:25-34 "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? 
28 "So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 
31 "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day isits own trouble.

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6
